Danielle Nelson is a writer and producer for NBC Los Angeles. She began her journalism career in high school where she worked on the student newspaper and yearbook.

In college, Nelson majored in journalism at the University of Denver and took a broadcast reporting class. She moved around a bit trying new journalistic experiences before landing as a producer in Los Angeles.
